The high-rises act like bookends, funneling the eye toward the bright, geometric sphere of Science World (TELUS World of Science), a building that began life as the Expo Centre for Expo 86. The dome’s placement is not accidental. Expo architect Bruno Freschi set the Expo Centre on the axis of Georgia Street, using the corridor as a symbolic line across the city, which makes this long-distance alignment feel like a built-in piece of urban choreography.
